Comfort Thimble Comfortable This is the first thimble I have ever found comfortable.
Comfort Thimble Comfort thimble I was unsure, initially, but my only problem was that I had wished I had had a way to determine the size needed. I love the thimble, but I may have needed to order a smaller one. It is difficult to tell online.
Comfort Thimble Just Get One The product title says it all. Very comfortable. And just as functional as a traditional thimble. I am a guy that likes to sew. My fingers are a little larger and squared off on the ends. This thimble really works for me. I bought a few extra because I have not seen them for sale where I live.
Comfort Thimble Not for quilting Had high hopes for this product but I'm sorry to report that this thimble is not suitable for driving a needle as in hand quilting. Yes, it's soft and comfortable but those are the very reasons why your needle head will pierce right through. Ouch!
Comfort Thimble Deana, Devoted Sewing Addict I am one of the "refused to use a thimble" because they hurt my finger and got in the way more often that they helped. I have finally found a comfortable and useful thimble or as my great grandmother used to tell me, "Your finger's body guard and traffic cop". It is supple allowing it to bend and move enough not to pinch or rub the finger tissue. Because it is comfortable one does not use the protected finger in such a manner as to interfere with the sewing project.
